My son wanted a homemade Wall E cake for his third birthday. So, I made 2 box cakes. The body of Wall E is a 9 in. square cake pan, three layers. The tire treads are one layer cake, cut in triangular pieces. I made the eyes and neck out of cardboard, glued them, and spray painted them with silver paint.
I hand-painted the extra touches and outlined his goggles. I didn’t want the spray paint to be on the Wall E cake, so I covered the bottom with alum. foil and attached them to the cake with wooden skewers. The cake is covered with icing stars, I think #16 tip. Super easy and my son loved his homemade Wall E cake!
