Coolest Scrapbook Cake Idea

This Scrapbook Cake Idea is a combination Birthday and Father’s Day cake. The cake was made out of a mix and baked in a Wilton Book Pan. It was frosted in buttercream and the top of the cake was a sheet of white fondant cut to fit for the top page. The sides were scored to look like pages of a book and a blue fondant rope was put around the bottom edge to give it a finished look.

The photos on the cakes were old family photos that were scanned into the computer and then printed out. I then laminated them and made grey fondant photo corners. The lettering and heart were cut out of blue fondant.

The camera was cake baked in a mini loaf pan and then cut down a little to get the exact size I wanted. I covered it in grey fondant. The lenses of the camera were graduated circles of grey fondant and the buttons on the camera were also grey fondant.
