I made this Spa Birthday Cake for my daughter’s Spa birthday party and it was a hit. It was actually pretty easy. I used fondant to make the spa girl and the face cream is made of butter cream colored avocado green.
To cut the face I just traced around a bowl to get a perfect circle. The cucumbers I cut with a small circle biscuit cutter. Whenever possible try to find cookie/biscuit cutters to help you with cutting. It helps with uniformity. A little trick to make your cakes look “finished” cover your cake board with foil. It adds to the decorative look and it makes the board re-usable – a big plus!
