I made this flower cake as a ‘thank you’ to my daughter’s class mother. The cake it’s self was a homemade white cake.
It was made in an 8″ spring form pan and then cut into 3 layers. The filling was lemon curd mixed with buttercream frosting. The cake was first covered with a cream cheese frosting and then surrounded with white chocolate plastic. The flowers and decor balls surrounding the base of cake were also made from white chocolate plastic (colored).
