Cute Homemade Princess Cake

My 4 year old had a cake dream of a princess with a bling dress walking on a cloud.

So we made a red velvet cake mix and started baking. Using a cream cheese frosting base with fondant icing in a layering effect for the base and dress. Please remember to wear glove if colouring the fondant. We used cookie cutter and knitting needles to sculpt the fondant.

Egg white and sparkle dusting with a brush to create the sparkle effect and it adds gloss to the fondant. Icing roses and deco balls to round it off and the plastic toy horses for the special effects on the cake cake. Sprinkle with sparkle dust.

Ps the rolling of the fondant is easier if well kneaded before hand.

Wow and there it was! the kids loved the taste and my girl was so happy.
