Coolest Topsy Turvy Seuss Cake

Ever since I first saw a Topsy Turvy cake I’ve wanted to have a go at making one. My daughter was turning 10 and we couldn’t think of a theme cake that wasn’t babyish, so I suggested one of these. She thought that was an awesome idea, so I looked on the internet to get some idea of how to construct it and then just made up the design as I went. It wasn’t really supposed to be “Dr Seussish” but that’s how it turned out, a Topsy Turvy Seuss Cake.

I found making the shape a bit harder than I thought it would be, but decorating it was just great fun. My daughter was really happy with it and her friends thought it was awesome.
