I made this cake for a friend’s daughter. She has horses, plays the piano and harp and sings.
The bottom tier is chocolate biscuit cake. The top tier is chocolate sponge cake. They are both covered in ganache. Is then covered the cake board with fondant and the two cake all in the same colour.
I then made the bows and the ribbon around the cake i made all the decorations a few days before to give them time to dry. The 16 is pastillage and all the others are gum paste
These cakes are the best. I am getting ready to have my 16th birthday and have no clue what type of cake I want.
