I followed the instructions of a Homemade Cookie Monster Birthday Cake posted here before, but I made some changes.
I used from bottom to top: one round 10 inch, two round 9 inch, one 8″, one Pyrex 1qt cut for the neck shape, two 1.5 qt bowl Pyrex for the head, one roast beef pan for the feet and finally one square 9″ for the hands.
I mounted every round cake with round carton between them, and secure hands, feet and head with lolly pops sticks and toothpicks. It took me an entire day so plan ahead.
I used blue royal for the color, and it came to life. I wish I had more time for the decoration part, but my guest started arriving so I had to rush it a little.
The satisfaction was to see my son in his 2nd birthday with a big smile and say at the cake: cookie! am am am!
I AM PROUD OF YOU!
