My husband and I decided to make a Jeep birthday cake for our son’s 5th birthday. It turned out really cute and was easy to make.
The bottom is a 13×9 chocolate cake. We frosted it with chocolate fudge frosting, then sprinkled crushed chocolate graham crackers and chocolate rocks.
The jeep is made of one cake mix baked into two separate cakes using a loaf pan. Cut one of the loaves and place it on top of the whole one. Use a serrated knife to shape the jeep as desired. Use the remaining piece of the loaf to place under the jeep so you can add tires. We used mini Crueller donuts and wrapped Hershey Kisses to make the wheels.
This cake was a big hit with the kids and the adults too!
Fantastic! I’m going to try your cake for my son’s second birthday party!
