First layer was a marble cake with the vanilla colored green so the cake had the camo look when cut. Second layer was a devil food cake, and the cupcake on top was also camo. Icing was a homemade butter cream (with butter base) colored with green, brown and a little yellow for the olive green color.
Then used Wilton’s color spray in green and black for the camo effect (black did NOT show up well and was runny, maybe I just had a bad can). Oreos for wheels, Twix lining the tires. Dark chocolate filled Creme de Pirouline rolled wafer sprayed with green color was used for the cannon. Army man on top then just printed small American flag and Army logo to put on the cake and just removed before cutting. Graham cracker crumbs as the sand.
