I made this homemade bowling birthday cake for my 4 year old’s birthday, he loves bowling so we decided to celebrate it at the bowling alley. To go with the theme I wanted it to be of him bowling.
I made two 9″ by 13 inch chocolate fudge cakes and covered with cream cheese frosting and I made the fondant myself, I chose the marshmallow fondant recipe and it turned out great and very easy to make.
The bowling pins and bowling balls along with the figure is made out of modeling chocolate so everything is edible!!!!! The kids loved it and everybody was amazed of how good it looked. This is the second cake that I made out of fondant.
