I recently got into making and decorating cakes in my free time, doing them for friends of mine, and my Dad told me he wanted a Red Sox cake with Jacoby Ellsbury’s autograph on it. Seeing as I live 600 miles away from home now it didn’t look like it was going to happen. I decided to surprise him and go home for his birthday, cake suppies and all. Hiding out at my mother’s house I spent all day making his cake and getting ready for his party, my step mother new I was coming so she gathered a few friends for a small party for him. His birthday is New Years Eve so driving with a cake in a blizzard was interesting. He was so surprised to see me and even more shocked to see the cake he had mentioned almost 6 months prior.
