My son wanted a police car cake for his third birthday. I didn’t find many ideas on the web so I came up with this myself. Originally I was going to make the whole cake out of two 9x13s, cutting one to be the top of the car. But they came out too thin so I stacked them both to be the base of the car and baked an 8×8 for the top of the car. From there I iced with cream cheese frosting and decorated as shown. My son loved it!

This is a groom’s cake for my close friend. She gave me pictures of his police vehicle. I had every detail down to the license plate and car number! His groomsmen were impressed! I made the cake from two stacked 9X13 cakes. I used a knife and cut the shape I liked. Everything on the cake is fondant from the tires, side mirrors to the lights!
