What kid doesn’t love Mickey Mouse? and even better Mickey Mouse showing off their favorite hometown baseball team! Every little boy loves Mickey and every little boy loves baseball so I have combined both into this adorable tiered cake!!
The cake is a 9 inch round bottom tier with a 6 inch round top tier, Mickey’s head is made from the Wilton ball pan and ears are chocolate pops I made and covered in fondant. The cake is iced in butter cream except Mickey’s head that’s covered in fondant and all the detail and decorations are made out of fondant, even the adorable Phillies hat on Mickeys head!
This cake was so much fun for me to create and I know the birthday boy LOVED it! I also made Mickey cake pops that were dipped in white chocolate with red laces drawn on them to look like baseballs and they were displayed in cute little baseball print buckets! Hope you enjoy this cake as much as I did making it.
