I made this Jake and the Never Land Pirates birthday cake for a friend who’s nephew turned one. I had fun doing this cake. I got a coloring book and traced the character,s taped the picture to a small cookie sheet and covered it with wax paper. Then I used icing to trace the picture and then colored it in with icing.
I then put in the freezer overnight. I iced the cake and then took the characters out of the freezer and put them on the cake. The best part for me was when my husband walked into the kitchen and looked at the cake. The smile on his face made my day.
