This bowl full of chili cake was created for a Chili Cookoff. The hardest part was figuring out how to make the cheese! We tried Starbursts- they don’t grate well at all, and fondant- too fake looking. The final result was from circus peanut candies! Since the cake was baked in my Kitchen Aid Mixer bowl, the top was serendipitous when it looked like the top of a bread bowl. It got rave reviews and was tasty too.
