This cake was done for nurse who graduated from Nursing School. It is a two tier white cake, the bottom is a 10 inch and the top is a 8 inch. All the decorations were made from fondant several days ahead of time to be able to dry.
The pill bottle was formed around a small pill bottle to give it shape. I also made the top for the pill bottle. If you notice it has different colored pills spilling out of a pill bottle. I cut all of these out with several different size of icing tips and the oval ones I did free hand. The nurse’s hat and a syringe, and stethoscope and band aides are all done free handed.
This cake had to be transported so I put a dowel rod down through the center to stabilize the cake tiers. The nurse who received this cake was amazed at this cake.
