This guitar cake was for a surprise 50th birthday party. When the person ordered it they asked for a cake that would feed about 20 and didn’t want an “ugly” guitar. Well being that the party was being held at a beautiful mansion, I couldn’t have just a plain guitar. I got a little carried away and it ended up feeding about double!
This cake is 99% edible. The only thing you CAN’T eat is the strings (which is an unflavored floss!) For scale, this cake is 30″ long! I finished it off with a hand painted sheet music of “Happy Birthday!”
When I walked in everyone LOVED it and couldn’t get over how real it looked! The birthday “man” loved it as well.
