In going along with my theme for my friend’s baby shower, I created this Baby Boy Duckie Cake with the blue baby hat. It is a white cake tinted a mint color with Wilton’s coloring and Nestle’s Dark Chocolate & Mint chips added to the batter. The duck was cut freehand from an 11×14.5″ base (I used toothpicks to outline my design before cutting).
The frosting is done using a large star tip and Duncan Hines Whipped White frosting. Yellow sprinkles bring attention to the wing while orange sprinkles bring some sparkle to the beak.
