I made this Frog Birthday Cake for my granddaughter’s birthday. She loves frogs and I try to find anything I can that has to do with frogs so this is what she got for her cake.
I used a 7″ round for the base, a heart shape for most of the body (the head and torso) and Twinkies for the legs and hips. I used a crusting buttercream so that I could smooth it with my fingers once it was dry. The tongue was made with thickened up buttercream, then molded to shape.
