Coolest Jungle Rainforest Theme Cake

I used a 15x11x2 sheet can pan for this Jungle Rainforest Theme Cake. This size pan takes 2 1/2 cake box mixes. I used 2 boxes of chocolate and 1 box of white. Then I marbled the cake batter by putting the chocolate on the bottom and adding the white on top. I then took a butter knife and swirling it around. I then added a full size cupcake for teddy graham mountain.

I used 2 containers of pre-made frosting and added lots of green food coloring. The “sand” is rice krispy cereal, the animals were bought from a local candy supply store and I also used some fondant for the first time to make the giraffe, alligator, and bear. I used s’mores goldfish to accent the river and the cake border.

The “water” is blue icing from a tube. The teddy grahams are decorated with gel writer icing for the bathing suit bottom and for the eyes & mouth. Peanuts were used as “rocks” and dum-dum suckers as “trees”. The 2 leopards are my daughter’s toys and the #5 candle is store bought. I accented it with some green frosting on the bottom underneath the fondant black letters. Those letters were made perfectly with Wilton cookie cutter letter cut-outs.
