It is a 3 tier cake, a 10inch, 8inch and a 6inch. I used home made buttercream icing,which will crust giving it that smooth look as if though it is fondant. I used colored fondant to create the pearl bordeer, and I used cookie cutters for the letters. I also used piping gel to help the fondant letters stick to the side of the cake. When building the cake, I used four dowel rods in the bottom cake, and four in the middle. Every layer has a cake board underneath it, and then once it was all together I stuck a wooden shish ka bob stick down the center! Email me for further questions…
