I made 2 white 8×8 cakes, 1 8×8 chocolate and 6 chocolate cupcakes to start this Big Pink Castle Birthday Cake. I stacked the white cakes on top of each other and then cut the square chocolate into smaller squares and stacked them. The icing is homemade whipped icing. I iced a sugar cone and rolled it in pink sugar and put it on top for a tower.
I decorated the cake with rings, bracelets and wands. The cupcakes on the side were chocolate with green homemade buttercream icing using the grass tip from Wilton. This cake was a huge hit! When my daughter saw it for the first time her eyes lit up!
This cake was very time consuming for me since it was my first stacked cake but so worth it!
