I created this Diaper Cake for my daughter and the birth of her twin boys. This was my first attempt at making a diaper cake, but was excited to try it and had a lot of fun doing it. I used 1 and 3 size diapers. I used rubber bands and thin ribbon to roll and bind the diapers together. I then wrapped a baby themed ribbon around the outside of the tiers. I used a box of wipes in the middle to set up a support for the cake, and a bottle of baby shampoo on the second tier.
The cake has a variety of things on it, bibs, wash cloths, pacifiers, rattles, teethers, spoons, toys, some misc. decorations and a stuffed dog on top, with a bow.
Everyone loved the cake especially my daughter. My boss was so impressed she asked me to make one for her daughter’s baby shower and her daughter wouldn’t take it apart for the longest time.
