This homemade Halloween Spider cake was my sister’s and my first attempts at fondant.
The bottom tier is a 2 layer 10″ round cake and the top tier is a 2 layer 6″ round one. Both are boxed carrot cake. The tiers were crumb coated in homemade cream cheese frosting and then homemade marshmallow fondant. All decorations were hand-shaped, using the same marshmallow fondant.
