I made this Abbie Doll Cake for my oldest daughter’s 5th birthday. I have been wanting to make one of these forever and this was my first attempt. It was actually a lot easier than I thought it was going to be. This cake took (2) boxes of cake mix split between (1) 8″ round and the large pampered chef measuring cup. It worked out well but I wish it would have been about an inch taller total…I had to finish the dress with icing right at her hips.
Overall, it was slightly time consuming but simple. I look forward to trying it out again. I can’t wait until my little girl gets to see it tomorrow!
