My niece Haley, turned 5 this year. All she wanted for her birthday was to be a princess so I decided to make her a princess cake. I made 3 8″ cakes and 1 bowl cake.
I let the cakes cool in the freezer for an hour (less crumbs) then I took a cookie cuter and cut the center out of every cake. I wrapped the doll in plastic wrap to protect her from the frosting. I then frosted the whole cake and then took a angled spatula and whipped it through the frosted cake. I put some sprinkles to look like jewels and made her hat out of hot pink paper card stock and just added some ribbon to the hat and the doll.
Haley didn’t get her wish to become a princess but this sure helped.
