I made this Barbie Doll Cake for my friend’s daughter. She wanted a pretty princess cake. I didn’t have a dome tin so I made two round cakes and put one on top of the other and shaped it. I draped fondant over the top and then stuck the barbie in it.
The trickiest part was making the bodice look neat. I used flowered ribbon to wrap around the waist and neckline and added fondant flowers to decorate, as well as a ribbon at the back.
