For his 7th birthday in 2007, my nephew requested a Burger Birthday Cake and, after reviewing the ones in this site at that time, I came up with this one. It thrilled him to no end and he’s requested another for this year, his 9th. The first was pretty dry with the brownie “meat”, yellow cake layers, fruit roll-ups and very little moisture. It looked very authentic, but lacked the “yummy factor” I thought. I’m not sure if I’ll honor his request this year as I had another tentative plan. If I do another burger this year, it will probably be a fruit/pudding/icing thing.
