I didn’t have a huge round pan, so I decided to make a sheet cake (vanilla) instead, as a large crowd-sized “pizza” for my husband’s Pizza Birthday Cake.
Once the cake was baked and cooled, I put on the “toppings.” I made a vanilla buttercream and tinted it with red colouring and cocoa for the sauce. Next, I piped some reserved buttercream tinted green, for the green peppers. I cut out fondant mushroom slices and onions. Finally, I topped the whole thing with a block of grated white chocolate. It really looked like a pizza, but it was yummy cake!
