I love coming to this site! I gathered ideas for this Pizza Cake from here, and went with it. Our Father’s Day cake turned out awesome! Dad loves pizza, and we thought nothing better than to give him a pizza cake for his special day!
I got a Wilton 16in” cake pan from a cake shoppe and then used two cake mixes to create the “crust.”
The sauce is red frosting – to get the deep red, use the Wilton liquid gel food coloring.
I used a pampered chef Parmesan cheese grater to grate white chocolate discs into the Parmesan cheese, and coconut for the mozzarella cheese. Fondant was used for the pepperoni and then sprayed with edible coloring, red.
I asked our Dominos pizza to buy a box to complete the “look” – for .75 I got a large box!
It turned out great and we had enough to feed about 25 people! Large cake!
