My youngest son is 6 years old and asked me if I could make him a Homemade Batman Birthday Cake Design! I had no idea where to start so I looked around the internet and liked the idea of Batman cupcakes and a batman figurine.
I made the Batman out of sugarpaste and it seemed to take forever especially as so iconic. I got some Batman logos and cut out the fondant shapes.
What A mess I made of the cupcakes. The icing I poured on seeped in between the sponge and casing so they spilled and went everywhere. I made another batch and made the icing stiffer, amazing how it flowed when appeared so firm. I put a batman cutout on each cupcake.
The figurine stood on the cake and kept falling over so put a cape around him and still kept falling over….GRRrrrrr. So put a dowel in the cake and he stopped acting drunk. LOL
My lad loved it and so did his friends. Hope you like it as much.
