I made this Batman cake for a friend’s son. I used a Wilton shaped pan and my own chocolate cake recipe (doubled up). I don’t like the cake recipe that comes with the Wilton pans. The shaped pans work well, just remember to use enough spray & bake and make sure you spray it into all the corners.
I changed the colouring as on the instructions it was blue, light blue, black and grey. The Batman picture that I was given for the cake was mainly grey and black with some blue so I used those colours. I iced the cake with butter icing and placed it on a cake board.
The kids enjoyed the cake and it lasted for 5 days before they managed to finish it!
