I made this Cheer Bear Cake for my daughter’s fourth birthday. I used a Wilton Cheer Bear shaped cake pan. It was pretty easy, considering this was my first time ever attempting anything like this. I used the decorating guidelines from Wilton.
First I frosted the outside and edges with white frosting using a spatula. The I outlined the entire design with various colors of buttercream frosting and a small round tip. Then I filled in the larger portions of the design with a star tip.
I waited until it dried a little then dipped my finger in a little cornstarch and smoothed out the rainbow and the eyes. I used some edible iridescent powder mixed with clear vanilla extract and painted the rainbow and parts of the eyes.
