This was a Dr.Seuss cake I made for a school cake decorating contest and I won first prize. To make the cat I prepared rice krispie treats following the directions on the box then I let it sit until I was able to mold him. After that I decorated him just like I would with a regular cake.
He is sitting behind a Dr.Seuss book. The book I made with two 9 inch square pans and I covered the cake with a homemade fondant that has marshmallows in it (I got the recipe online). Then I added the detailing on top of the fondant with butter cream icing.
