I made this Hello Kitty Cake Idea for my sister’s birthday. I used a 12×17 cake pan and 3 boxes of cake mix. After allowing it to cool I cut out the shape of Kitties head, which luckily is simple. After applying a butter cream crumb coat, I used a Marshmallow fondant to cover.
For her bow, I dyed some of the marshmallow fondant pink and used a heart, and circle cookie cutter. For the eyes and nose I used a circle cookie cutter and than squished it into an oval. The whiskers I just cut strips. All in all it was a very simple fast cake.
