I was asked to make a Hello Kitty cake for a neighbor’s daughter’s 11th birthday. Easy peasy!
I made a chocolate 1/2 sheet cake and chocolate ganache filling (she LOVES chocolate)! The cake was cut in half and layered. The chocolate ganache is super simple, just bittersweet chocolate blocks and heavy whipping cream. Bring whipping cream to a boil and pour over chocolate pieces in bowl. The butter cream frosting was Wilton’s recipe. I used the star tip and it worked out great.
