My daughter wanted a Scooby Doo party for her 4th birthday. I purchased a Wilton cake decorating kit, and the colors of icing I would be needing for this Scooby Doo Birthday Cake. I used an outline tip to freehand a picture of Scoob, filled in with a small flower tip. The “4” is filled in with yellow glitter on top of the yellow icing, which added another dimension to it.
Adding the touches of white to the eyes and nose as a highlite really made Scooby’s face come alive. The pink icing looked amazing next to the brown, it was such a cheerful, happy cake! I just used prebought chocolate icing out of a tub to save time, instead of coloring it with icing colors. It took a while (about 1 1/2 hours to decorate), but it was a lot of fun, and most important, my daughter loved it!
It was plated on a ” groovy” tray to add to the Scooby Doo theme!
