Coolest Spongebob Birthday Cake

This homemade Spongebob Birthday cake was a huge hit!

I made this cake using a regular rectangle pan. I then frosted 3/4 of it yellow with vanilla icing and yellow food coloring. I frosted the other 1/4, half vanilla and half chocolate; this part represented his shirt and pants.

I frosted cookies for his eye; his irises were blue air head candy and his pupils black M&Ms. The outline of his mouth was black licorice, as were his belt loops. I frosted little doughnuts for his pant legs and used ho hos for his shoes.

His arms, hands, nose, and legs were lemon tootsie rolls. His tie and red mouth outline were those cherry strip things you can get at candy stores. They are sour and have sugar on them.
