Cool Homemade Thomas and Friends in the Round House Birthday Cake

My grandson Parker loves Thomas. In fact this is the fifth time for a Thomas cake. I try to change the cake each year. This year I went with a Thomas and Friends Birthday Cake in the Round House. Thomas, James and Percy were all used with the Wilton train 3-D pan. I used a star tip for the body of the trains. With homemade fondant I made the faces giving each a different expression. I used craft “google” eyes for the trains.

I made the stall out of wood and painted with craft paints. Parker can use these later for playtime. I made the tracks out of craft sticks and painted them black.

The children and adults loved the cakes. It was a hit!
