This Thomas the Train Birthday Cake is actually 2 boxes of cake, 1 box for 2 8″ pans and 1 for a spring form pan, which is bigger for the bottom layer. I used a bread knife in the blue icing to help keep the lines uniform. Those are chocolate rocks I happened to find at Marshall’s.
I melted chocolate chips in the microwave for the tunnel and put it in the freezer on foil coated with non-stick spray. I got a cake topper kit from the Wal-Mart bakery that had Thomas, a truck, and the sign in it.
