My son had a very strong desire to have a Chronicles of Narnia Birthday Party but I could not find any paraphernalia at my local store. I thought I could just try to come up with my own amazing cake design and base it on a book and the lamppost since that is what lead the way for the children.
I used the crest of Aslan and the fancy writing “Long Live Aslan” on the left and put my typical “Happy Birthday Tyler” on the right. I used Airhead candy to create the lamppost and bookmark. I had to put a kabob stick in the center of the lamppost to keep it standing.
To make the party complete I made homemade Turkish Delight to be served along with the cake and put 4 pieces in special gift boxes my son decorated himself for the guests.
