I made this Spider-Man birthday cake for my nephew’s birthday who loves superheroes and of course, Spider-Man.
Spider-Man Birthday Cake Details
- The cake is a 12 inch round cake.
- I covered it in homemade buttercream frosting, white icing for the base and blue to embellish the top and bottom.
- The spider, spider web, Spider-Man figure and lettering were all made out of fondant.
- Once I added the fondant items, the cake was complete.
NOTE: This was my first attempt at making a Spider-Man figure. I found a picture tutorial on Pinterest which really helped me in making this guy. 😃 I am including a picture of the tutorial I used in case anyone else needs or wants to make a Spider-Man.
