This Sesame Street birthday cake is for my son’s 2nd birthday. It took me 2 days to make this birthday cake. I had to bake 10 boxes of cake at work where I work as a direct care worker with clients. So I was on my feet all day running back and forth, back and forth. Feet swollen and everything but it’s okay cause it was all for my son. We lost his father in August of this year so I knew I had to go all out for my son’s birthday this year. My family always tell me that I should start decorating cakes and selling them as a job, not a hobby. I thought about it but I haven’t decided yet.
So when I built the Elmo topper for the cake it wasn’t leaning, lol, but I made it a week ahead and someone touched it, lol. So I decided to sit Elmo on a couch since he looked so tired. So this is my silly Sesame Street cake for my amazing 2 year old son. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did.
