My son loves the Android operating system (which is named “Kit Kat”) so I made him this Anroid robot cake for his 13th birthday and in honor of his first cell phone. I baked a rectangular cake and a round cake. I cut the round cake in half for the head. Using a picture as a guide I trimmed the rectangular cake to the shape and proportion of the body.
I used the scrap pieces to make the legs and arms. There was not much leftover so I carefully had to piece some together and hold it with a toothpick. I frosted it green frosting, used Altoids for the eyes and pretzels for the antennas. Pretty simple. He loved it!
