This was a fun cake to make. I was a made for a teacher who was getting married. She asked for two cakes one that represented her and what she liked and one for her future husband. They were for their rehersal dinner. She is a Lumberjill and loves the forest, science and teaching.
I made a white cake with a strawberry cream frosting for the layers. It was neat to see how it all turned out. I used moulding chocolate for everything. I would say my favorite part of the cake was the apple with the little worm coming out of it. My goal is to make something fun for whom ever is getting the cake and this one was just that. It showed who she was as a person and what her interests were. The story was all their.
