My grandson wanted a super hero cake this year for his 6th birthday. I wanted to challenge myself so I did a checkerboard cake , and boy did I learn that when you cut your circles they have to match!
I did a pound cake (which I died yellow and kinda black) this year with homemade marshmallow fondant and chocolate fudge frosting. As you can see, I added some decorations that I couldn’t make myself. I had fun making this cake and most important the birthday boy was happy!
