This 18th Fashion Birthday Cake is my hubby and my second attempt at cake decorating. It’s for a friend’s 18th birthday party . Both layers are mocha with mocha buttercream filling. We used a 10 inch and an 81/2 round pans which I now realize was a mistake. The top tier should have been a smaller pan, preferably an 8 or 6 inch would look much nicer. And I probably should have carved the cake to make it more even.
Still need more practice..maybe we’ll get it right the third time.
