Coolest 4th Birthday Monkey Cake

My daughter was in love with monkeys so she requested a monkey birthday. This homemade 4th birthday monkey cake was so much fun and delicious.

I found a homemade banana chocolate cake recipe online, baked it in a stainless steel bowl, then decorated it with homemade buttercream icing. The ears were made of a cupcake cut in half. Everyone loved the cake, especially my daughter and that is all that mattered.
