Coolest Baby Bear Cake

I searched the web for ideas but couldn’t find anything that was for a baby shower so I came up with this baby bear cake for my daughter’s best friend. The bear is Wilton’s 3D cake pan and the cake is a pound cake mix and white cake.

To make the bear look furry I used the grass tip from Wilton. People at the shower thought it was a stuffed bear. I made the OU that is on the diaper and 10″ round cake out of red chocolate a few days ahead of time. I wrote the OU on a piece of paper and put wax paper over it which made it easier to the same size pieces.

The icing was the standard buttercream recipe.
